Kandidátský seznam je dostupný na stránkách ECHA. Ve smyslu legislativy REACH po zveřejnění na

Kandidátském seznamu budou látky hodnoceny s cílem určit, zda tyto látky budou zařazeny také na
Seznam látek podléhajících povolení (Příloha XIV Nařízení REACH).

Společnosti mohou mít legislativně určeny povinnosti vyplývající ze zveřejnění látek na kandidátském
seznamu, přičemž se jedná o látky jako takové, látky ve směsích nebo v předmětech.

Výrobci a dovozci mají 6 měsíců od zveřejnění, aby notifikovali použití u ECHA (do 19.6.2012), pokud
jsou splněny obě následující podmínky:

  • Látka se nachází v předmětech v množství přesahujícím 1 tunu na výrobce/dovozce za rok;
  • Látka se nachází v předmětech v koncentraci 0,1 hmot.% a více.

Z uvedeného se uplatňují výjimky, pokud je již látka registrována pro dané použití nebo pokud může
být vyloučena expozice.
